“Matryoshka Doll” Heterostructures Induce Electromagnetic Parameters Fluctuation to Tailor Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

چکیده

Components manipulation and structure engineering have shown powerful approaches for tailoring electromagnetic (EM) parameters. However, the integration of controllable architectural compositional complexity into one multiple-layer heterostructure seems significantly effective but remains a considerable challenge, correlative quantized modulation EM parameters is scarce. Herein, three types metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) hybrids derived sulfides are ingeniously fabricated by MOF architecture solvothermal sulfuration. Compared to random assembly MOFs in “Chaotic” (Structure 1), regular arrangement MOF-on-MOF heterostructures “Matryoshka doll” 2) guarantees improved lattice strain defect arising from abundant heterointerfaces core–shell heterostructure. Impressively, such aforementioned advantages together with sufficiently exposed sites conductivity display an interesting “quantized state” between “0 “1 subsequent ion exchange process structured Zn–Co sulfides, benefiting “quantization” boost wave (EMW) absorption. Further, introducing metal ions cation-doped 3) subtly optimizes composition defect, leading enhanced impedance matching absorption bandwidth 7.8 GHz at 2.6 mm. This study highlights significant e?ect on fluctuation, which synergy sulfur vacancy, tailor desirable EMW capacity.

Parameters characterizing electromagnetic wave polarization

In this paper, generalizations of the Stokes parameters and alternative characterizations of three-dimensional (3D) time-varying electromagnetic fields is introduced. One of these characteristics is the normal of the polarization plane, which, in many cases of interest, is parallel (or antiparallel) to the direction of propagation. Others are the two spectral density Stokes parameters which des...

Total absorption of an electromagnetic wave by an overdense plasma.

We show both theoretically and experimentally that an electromagnetic wave can be totally absorbed by an overdense plasma when a subwavelength diffraction grating is placed in front of the plasma surface. The absorption is due to dissipation of surface plasma waves (plasmons polaritons) that have been resonantly excited by the evanescent component of the diffracted electromagnetic wave. The dev...

Electromagnetic Wave Surface Velocimetry

Electromagnetic wave surface velocimeters ESVs measure the Doppler shift in electromagnetic waves reflected from the water surface. They provide nonintrusive water surface velocity measurements from bridges and river banks. Comparisons with laboratory and field tests show very good agreement over a wide range of elevation and planview angles. Laboratory testing shows comparable results between ...

Metamaterial electromagnetic wave absorbers.

The advent of negative index materials has spawned extensive research into metamaterials over the past decade. Metamaterials are attractive not only for their exotic electromagnetic properties, but also their promise for applications. A particular branch-the metamaterial perfect absorber (MPA)-has garnered interest due to the fact that it can achieve unity absorptivity of electromagnetic waves....
